The welding tips got an upgrade. They are now made from zirkonium copper (CuCrZr) instead of normal copper.

Why new material ?

This copper alloy is specially designed to be used for welding applications. It provides better mechanical propertys than normal copper, which will make the new welding tips last longer without the need of resharpening.

  • Alloy: CuCrZr – Zirkonium Copper
  • Length: 36mm
  • Width: 4.4mm
  • Tip: 1.5 mm

At the moment preordering is not possible. But the bundles are estimated to be back in stock by friday january 4, 2018.
When they are back in stock you can place an order.

Is there a “best practice” method of sharpening/dressing the electrode tip after many uses? So far I have been using a Dremel lawn mower blade sharpener with decent — but not stellar — results.
