I have had this kit for a few months now and it is superb! Perfect for apartments since it is not hooked up to the building’s electrical system. Other than having to replace the welding tips eventually (which is true for any spot welder) I can see this kit lasting a long time. I am so glad they released these complete kit bundles. It made my DIY PEV experience so painless! Don’t bother with a china welder, this kit is much more robust and intuitive.

Used this kit to make a 20s battery from 18650s, spot welded the nickel lovely. Instructions were easy to follow, and the kit was easy to assemble. Don’t buy any cheap aliexpress welder, this is the one you want.

Endlich mal ein Welder der hält was er verspricht. habe billigteile von ali or Amazon getestet und sind alle durchgefallen or durchgebrannt. und der große Welder mit 230V Stecker lässt ständig die Sicherung kommen wenn ich mehr als 0,5mm spotten will. dein Spotter rockt alles. 0,5-2,0+ bin echt begeistert. Verarbeitung top und Leistung göttlich.

This thing is awesome. I had a sunkko 110v before this. This battery welder kit runs circles around it. I just did a 450 weld session of .35mm thickness and it never missed a beat. Not difficult to put together. Not difficult to use. Excellent guides on building and using.
